National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month is here! We would like to spread awareness about human trafficking and information about how we can prevent and end this modern-day slavery by sharing information provided by the Blue Campaign of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS).
Human trafficking, also known as trafficking in persons, is a form of modern-day slavery in which traffickers lure individuals with false promises of employment and a better life. Traffickers often take advantage of poor, unemployed individuals who lack access to social services. Find out more about the Green Card process for victims and survivors.
